Meet Sonia Parker

Hello, I’m Sonia Parker, co-founder of Animal Spirit Oracle and The Spiritual Centre, and the creator behind The Living Path and The Unseen Path — two distinct journeys, one soul, each listening to the world in its own way.

My approach is rooted in lived experience, shaped over many years through connection with animals, the land beneath our feet, and the subtle realms of spirit that often go unnoticed.

At its heart, this way of being centres on noticing — paying attention to what is present, remaining open to what arrives unexpectedly, and honouring the quiet impulses that gently guide us forward.

Through The Living Path, I am honoured to be the sole caretaker and guide of Animal Spirit Oracle.

Animal Spirit Oracle

Animal Spirit Oracle was co-created by Sonia Parker and Bruce Clifton, who are joint authors of both the Animal Spirit Oracle Classic and Animal Spirit Oracle Twilight decks.

The oracle decks reflect a shared philosophy — honouring animals as companions, wise messengers, and presences that appear when guidance or support is needed.

Animal Spirit Oracle – Classic

The original Animal Spirit Oracle Classic deck offers a grounded way of meeting animal guidance through presence, observation, and reflection.

Created as a way of listening rather than seeking answers, the Classic deck invites connection with animals as companions that appear through daily life, memory, and experience. Each card reflects an animal presence encountered not as a fixed meaning but as a living influence shaped by behaviour, timing, and relationships.

All 52 cards were illustrated by hand by Sonia Parker and are arranged across five elements: spirit, earth, air, fire, and water, each expressed through colour, imagery, and tone.

The Classic deck is at the heart of Animal Spirit Oracle, born from a love of the natural world and the subtle wisdom that lives in everyday moments. It invites us to notice what’s already here, letting clarity emerge softly—not as a sudden revelation, but as something that is recognised and quietly understood.

Animal Spirit Oracle – Twilight

The Animal Spirit Oracle Twilight Deck is a natural progression to the original Animal Spirit Oracle. In the gentle space where day turns into night, our animal friends step forward; as the light surrenders to the shadows, their presence becomes known.

Twilight transports us to the liminal spaces of dawn and dusk, where the whole world softens and our perception subtly shifts. These in-between times are often instinctively recognised by animals, children, and lovers—moments when awareness feels heightened, and guidance is sensed rather than sought.

The Twilight deck builds on the foundations of the Classic deck. However, it ushers in a more contemplative, transitional way of listening. It invites a pause, a moment to notice those subtle shifts between day and night.

Twilight is not only a time of day, but also a way of noticing it—an invitation to pause, reflect, and recognise the beauty present in both beginnings and endings.
