The Path Now reflects where The Living Path is in this moment.
The moon, the natural world, and the animals that come forward shape it. Some things appear clearly. Others remain in the background. Nothing is forced into view.
This page does not describe the whole path — only where it is now.
The Living Path is forever moving—slowly, quietly—revealing itself through moments felt deep within the heart. This page is not a calendar or a prediction but a living expression of guidance as it unfolds. Direction is not given here; it is felt. Allow yourself to move with the rhythm of spirit.
The Living Path opens fully beneath the bright light of the Full Moon in Hawthorn.
This is a luminous and tender moment. Hawthorn stands in her fullness tonight, her blossom just breaking, the threshold she has always kept now lit from above. What has been forming in the quiet and the unseen is brought into the open air of May. The world is warm. The hedgerows are alive. Something that was held carefully in the dark is now ready to be known.
This Full Moon does not ask you to search or strive. It asks you to stand at the threshold Hawthorn keeps and receive what the light is already showing you. The portal is open. You are invited through.
Hawthorn holds the threshold
Hawthorn has always been a portal tree. Across the old lands, she was found growing alone beside sacred wells and ancient springs, her presence marking the places where the seen and the unseen are closest together. She does not guard these places to keep you out. She guards them to keep what is precious safe until the right moment. Tonight is that moment.
Hawthorn carries both fire and water within her nature. Her wood burns fast and intensely, and it was her flame that kindled the sacred fires of Beltane, the great celebration of life and fertility that falls at this very turning of the year. She grows beside water, guards the wells, and stands in the mist at dawn. She holds both the brightness and the dark, the celebration and the still, the fertile and the protected, and she does not need to choose between them.
Under this Full Moon, Hawthorn illuminates your own wholeness. The things in you that seem to pull in different directions do not need to be resolved tonight. Hawthorn holds all of it. The light and the shadow, the tender and the fierce, the part of you that longs to leap and the part that knows the value of the here and now. All of it is held here, in the blossom-scented air of May, beneath a sky full of light.
You are protected here. The old guardianship is present, as it has always been at the sacred places where Hawthorn's roots find water and her white flowers open to the dark sky.
Hawthorn does not choose between the light and the dark.
She holds them both and, in doing so, becomes a portal.
Blackbird steps forward as your companion.
Into the luminous night of the full moon, Blackbird steps forward as your companion.
Blackbird brings the first song to the dawn chorus. Of all the birds in the garden, it is Blackbird who leads the others into voice, who takes the darkness of night and turns it, note by note, into the promise of a new day. Tonight, beneath the Full Moon in Hawthorn, Blackbird carries that same medicine. This is a new dawn. A fresh beginning. And it has been waiting for you.
With a cloak as dark as night and a voice as soft as a distant brook, Blackbird is the shaman, the healer, the medicine bird. The black gloss of its feathers speaks of the other side, of the unseen, of the deep knowledge that moves between worlds. And in the right light, a green sheen catches in those feathers, the colour of new growth, a reminder and a promise of what is to come. Blackbird carries both the night and the new day, just as Hawthorn carries both the dark and the light.
Blackbird's orange beak is a reminder of the sacral chakra, the seat of desire, creativity, and the need to love and be loved. On this Full Moon, it asks you what you truly want. Not what you think you should want, not what is practical or certain, but what you desire in the deepest, most honest part of yourself. Today is a whole new day. You are allowed to begin again.
Blackbird has caught the attention of poets, painters, bards, and dreamers across the centuries. In the old tradition, the druids and ovates understood the black cloak of the blackbird as the symbol of night turning to day, of the darkness before the dawn that makes the light, when it comes, so luminous and so certain. On this Full Moon, Blackbird carries that ancient knowing directly to you.
Be proud of who you are. A new and exciting adventure awaits.
Blackbird sings to celebrate a new day.
He is showing you the green shine of his feathers as a promise of what is to come.
Walking with Hawthorn & Blackbird
Hawthorn offers you the threshold. Blackbird offers you the song.
Together they hold something rare and complete. Hawthorn stands at the portal between what has been and what is opening, keeping the sacred space safe. Blackbird stands at the edge of the darkness and sings the new day into being with a calm, unhurried certainty that it will come.
This Full Moon asks you to step through the threshold Hawthorn keeps, carrying the song Blackbird has already begun. You do not need to force or push your way into what is ahead. The way is open. The portal is lit. The dawn is already turning.
Whatever you have been quietly holding through the darker months, whatever seeds of hope or desire or creative longing have been forming in the unseen, this is the moment to let them into the light. Hawthorn will protect them. Blackbird will celebrate them. The Full Moon will illuminate them for exactly what they are.
A new and exciting adventure is waiting. Be proud of who you are and what you carry. The path is open beneath the blossom and the moonlight, and it leads somewhere worth going.
A new dawn. A new day. A fresh beginning.
The portal is open. Step through.
Walking with the moment
If you are walking The Path Now, you are invited to pause here.
Notice what is present for you.
Notice what is absent.
Notice what is beginning to shift.
There is nothing to complete.
This is an invitation to walk the living spiritual path in rhythm with the moon, allowing insight to arise naturally rather than forcing answers.
The Path Now changes as the moon turns, but The Living Path remains. You are welcome to return whenever you feel called, meeting the path where it is now.
The land speaks.
The animals answer.
The stars remember.
The moon does not pause.
This moment will pass, and another will arrive.
Continue walking with us through the living path.
